It's that time of year again - the birthday month. Click & Grow is turning 6 years old this year!

From the initial 1 Smart Flowerbed Starter Kit with 7 refills, we've grown to 3 Smart Herb Gardens, 5 Smart Flowerbeds, 24 different plant refills and 2 major product prototypes - the Smart Farm and the Robot Garden. And we're not stopping here!

Click & Grow has enabled people to successfully grow edibles, flowers and decoratives without watering, fertilizing, repotting, seeding etc. But we also want to make the geeks and the experimenters happy. The ones that believe that growing anything should be effortless. And here is our answer to those people - the seedless Experimental Plant Capsule. Get any seeds you want from the gardening store, put them in your Experimental Plant Capsule, click it in your Smart Herb Garden and see the magic happen. As easy as that.

As a Click & Grow family member, we're sure that you also aim to be a part of change, a part of the future. Especially when it comes to one of the most quintessential components of the survival of human race - food. So besides working on making new future-of-food products for you, we always try to partner up and meet with people and brands who are on the same path. This is why in April 2015, we packed up 270 Click & Grow special-edition Smart flowerbeds with rosemary, and went on a quest to Milan to make the Estonian pavilion (CNN actually named it to be as one of the most impressive designs) of EXPO Milano 2015 even smarter and definitely greener.

We all have been waiting a long time for a new product launch. But even the Click & Grow team did not fully believe that the next launch after the Smart Herb Garden is going to be this big, this revolutionary, and this futuristic... until today.

Crazy news, fellas - we are building a 5 km2 (53,000 ft2) underground thermonuclear cucumber "factory" where fresh vegetables for the entire state of California will be grown at a fraction of the current price! The plant will be constructed outside Reno, Nevada and located near the Tesla Gigafactory. The plant will feature a novel energy source relying on thermonuclear fusion.

As you might now, we just celebrated our 5th birthday on October 20. But we're still in a bit of euphoria (in fact, we just had an actual birthday party just yesterday, so our birthday mood hasn't gone anywhere, and we're still eating cakes for breakfast, lunch an dinner), since this fact is almost unbelievable. Here at Click & Grow, time flies by faster than the blink of a Smartpot, and milestones like these make us stop and look back. So here it is - the history of Click & Grow, revealed.

 We are excited to announce the worldwide introduction of our highly anticipated Smart Herb Garden is ready to launch freshness into every household. Get ready to grow your favorite herbs and spices in your home the smart way!

There are no pesticides, fungicides, insecticides, plant hormones or any other type of poisons used. And we don't need to - a well watered and feed plant with perfect growing conditions can defend itself without any otside help. But we do use additional minerals to feed the plant. So in most countries it cannot be certified as organic.

A lot of people have been asking where our products can be found in retail stores. We have put together a list  of stores with addresses for you guys and we will add new locations in the future. So if you need an awesome gift for a friend, family or yourself, you do not have to wait for the delivery guy anymore but you can go and buy the fabulous Click and Grow from the nearest store around.

Thanks to our friends and fans, our first smart garden has done well. Today you can find it in more than 50,000 homes around the world. But we've been tinkering our labs to make it even better. And so we're very proud to unveil the brand new Smart Herb Garden.

Last week we asked our fans and customers to snap a picture of their smart garden and participate in our Spring Photo Contest. We are really excited to see that so many smart gardeners (is this a new term in the making?) have such a beautiful plants and that they shared them with the World. 

Winners were authors of pictures that got the most votes, and our jury picked 3 more winners additionally. It was not an easy job to do because there were so many beautiful entries! All receive their favourite plant refills as prizes.
